Equicom Savings bares promo

MANILA, Philippines - Equicom Savings Bank has launched a new promo that will provide cardholders of Equicom credit cards lighter credit and maximum savings benefits on interest and other finance charges.

Dubbed EqB 0% Balance Transfer, the promo involves the transfer of existing credit card balances to the cardholder’s Equicom credit card account at 0% or reduced interest rates based on preferred payment terms.

Open to all active and current Equicom credit cardholders of good credit standing and new applicants approved before April 30, 2010, the promo requires the balances to be transferred to be at least P3,000 and a maximum of P20,000 to avail of the 0% balance transfer for a maximum payment terms of three months.

Reduced interest rates are available for balance transfer amounts in excess of P20,000 and other payment terms.

In all instances, the balances to be transferred must be covered by the cardholder’s approved credit limit, while the amount of monthly amortization should be within the available credit limit of the Equicom credit card at the time of availment.

The credit card account of the balances to be transferred must be from the same applicant’s other principal credit card account with another bank, issued in the Philippines, with a minimum tenure of three months and should be active and in good standing.

The EqB 0% Balance Transfer promo was launched last Feb. 1 and will end on April 30.
