Ty, Metrobank, through its corporate social responsibility arm, Metrobank Foundation, awarded a P10-million grant to 38 social development organizations in the country; thus, enabling them to carry on various programs to benefit the disadvantaged members of society. Metrobank’s annual anniversary celebration was graced by Senator Loren Legarda including representatives and officers from development organizations including Luli Arroyo among many others. Congratulations!

Flavors of Mexico

It was a perfect day for diners as the Mandarin Oriental, Manila and the luxurious hotel’s GM, Helmut Gaisberger, welcomed guests to a Mexican Food Festival at Paseo Uno called Sabor Mexicano. The delectable buffet containing a variety of native Mexican dishes was specially prepared by guest chefs Fernando Pulido and Alfredo Pech from the Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya, Mexico. Having preceded the Mexican National Day celebration, the festival was opened with the charge d’affaires of the Mexican Embassy Minister Jose-Oramas-Cadena with a traditional hitting of a piñata. Noteworthy names from various Hispanic embassies were present at the sumptuous gathering as Helmut Gaisberger once again proved the hospitality and quality service that only the Mandarin Oriental can truly provide. Cheers!
