Globe Telecom is the top performing Yahoo! oneSearch partner in Southeast Asia, generating a massive number of unique page views per day with the innovative mobile search engine. 

Yahoo! oneSearch is designed to give relevant answers delivered in a breakthrough format on the mobile phone. Search results are easy to read, and provide users with immediate access to news, finance and weather updates, images including Flickr photos, web, mobile web and Globe content.

Since entering into a strategic partnership with Yahoo! last year, Globe has registered continuous growth in users and traffic for Yahoo! oneSearch with its subscribers noted as being one of the most active globally.

Company officials noted that with the encouraging take up of the service, Globe and Yahoo! have been constantly improving on the user experience. Globe subscribers are now able to check their flight schedules as well as get up-to-date scores of the hottest sporting events.      

Globe will soon offer hot keywords search feature to its subscribers. This feature recommends popular keywords that subscribers can simply click on to view results, removing the need to manually enter their search terms.

Officials explained that to use Yahoo! oneSearch, Globe subscribers simply go to the myGlobe WAP site. Through Globe’s new time-based browsing rate of P5 for 15 minutes, users can search all they want without worrying about the amount of data they use.
