Regional execs pick Globe as No. 1 in RP

More than seven years after it pioneered digital mobile phone technology in the Philippines, Globe Telecom has successfully steered itself to become the Philippine telecom industrys leader and gain the confidence and approval of regional executives in Asia.
In the 2002 ranking of the Far Eastern Economic Reviews (FEER) survey, The Review 200: Asias Leading Companies, Globe Telecoms relentless move to innovate and respond to its subscribers needs proved to be apparent as it ascended its ranking two notches higher, from 6th to 4th in the list of 10 most admired companies in the Philippines. It also gave Globe Telecom the distinction of being the only telecom company in the Philippines to be in the top 5.
FEERs The Review 200 is an annual readership survey that ranks which companies in Asia best exemplify selected qualities of corporate leadership which include: high quality products and services, innovative in responding to customer needs, long-term vision, financial soundness, and being a company that others try to emulate.
