Dimples Romana says Bea Alonzo 'so ready' for married life
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Dimples Romana has nothing but love and admiration for her longtime friend Bea Alonzo as the latter embarks on a new chapter in her life with husband Vincent Co.
In an interview with the media including Philstar.com during the partnership of Wipro Consumer Care International (WCCI) and S Brands Consumer Care Inc. (S Brands), Dimples said she has complete confidence in Bea and believes she no longer needs advice when it comes to building a family of her own.
"We're friends longer than... half of our lives. So for me, I don't think she needs any of my advice. Bea has always had a good head on top of her shoulders," DImples said.
The actress went on to praise Bea for her nurturing nature and the love she has always shown her family.
"She's so ready to love and to nurture people. Alam niyo naman kung gaano niya kamahal ang pamilya niya. So now that she's about to start her own family with Vincent, I only see the best for both of them. We only wish for the best, not only for friends but for people who have been there for them," she shared.
Dimples revealed that she has personally witnessed how devoted Bea has always been to her loved ones, making her even more excited to see her friend embrace married life.
"Napakabait ni Bea sa kanyang pamilya. And I've been a big witness of that, so I'm excited ako para sa kanya," she said.
When asked for her reaction on the secret wedding, Dimples said: "I love it. Alam mo sa buhay talaga, I guess the best things in life are not free but simple."
"Having a family, having somebody to love you and love them back and just being able to live," she added.
She also shared how the challenges of everyday life have given her a deeper appreciation for health, family, and lasting relationships.
"Alam mo ngayon na-realize ko na sa hirap ng buhay, gumising ka lang na wala kang sakit is a blessing on its own. And to be able to have a marriage at this point in their lives, I feel we bring about only beautiful things for them," she said.
Dimples' heartfelt message reflects the enduring friendship she shares with Alonzo, while expressing her confidence that the actress and Vincent are beginning their married life with love, strength, and the support of those closest to them.
Bea and Vincent tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Makati last July 13 facilitated by Mayor Nancy Binay.
The event held earlier today saw Wipro, the FMCG division of Wipro Enterprises, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the shareholding in S Brands Consumer Care Inc. (S Brands), a personal care company in the Philippines.
It is its second strategic acquisition in the Philippines, following the acquisition of Splash Corporation in 2019.
