MANILA, Philippines — Rock icon and actor Rico Blanco still believes in love even though he has failed in relationships several times.

In his interview with "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the award-winning singer-songwriter admitted that it has also crossed his mind that he might be destined to be single for life.

“There was a time where I resigned na, I knew that being single was the best thing set up for me. But that was a long time ago. And then I had a relationship after that,” he said.

"Right now, I’m single but I’m open to not being single,” he added.

Rico was also asked about the most important lesson he learned when it comes to love and relationships.

“Siguro ibigay mo pa rin lahat. Kasi kahit anong mangyari, Tito Boy, there’ll be no regrets afterwards, right?” he said.

Rico also said that he is still entertaining the idea of getting married.

“Still a possibility for me. But I suppose it has to be with the right person because I’m at the age where I don’t have to get married," he said.

“I understand for some people, they have to get married. Right now, I don’t have to get married so if I will get married, it has to be with the right person,” he added.

He also admitted that he is a bit sensitive when it comes to love in a relationship.

“Pisces ako eh. Medyo sensitive. More sa feels. In love-bin ako eh, parang ganu’n," he said.

“Romantic ‘yung ideal ko eh. Kung paano dapat ‘yung mga bagay-bagay,” he added.
