'Linda Walker' actress Zhang Ying Fei to visit Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — Chinese actress Zhang Ying Fei, popularly known for playing "Linda Walker" in the viral Chinese micro-drama series “The Heiress Who Won With Brains,” is set to visit the Philippines on June 10.
SM Mall announced that Ying Fei will visit The Annex Atrium on Level 4 of SM North EDSA at 3 p.m.
"In collaboration with the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), this special event promotes the value of education, academic excellence, and lifelong learning, inspired by Linda Walker’s character and story," SM said.
The admission is free and open to everyone.
"Don’t miss the chance to see her live! See you, SM Fam," SM said.
Zhang visits the Philippines to help spread the advocacy of Education for a Better Future in cooperation with FFCCCII.
Linda Walker's micro-drama series has seen massive success with localized Tagalog AI-dubbed clips widely shared on TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and short-video platforms.
The story revolves around a young woman who rises from poverty through intelligence, hard work and courage. The character's determination and resilience have sparked intense online discussions, memes, reaction videos and motivational posts.
