Barzaga talsik na sa Philippine Army
MANILA, Philippines — Tuluyan nang pinatalsik si Cavite 4th District Rep. Francisco “Kiko” Barzaga, bilang reservist ng Philippine Army.
“Barzaga was delisted over the release of his statements on social media, as he was insinuating sedition with an attached photo of him in military uniform. Such statements endanger the Armed Forces’ position as a non-partisan organization,” pahayag ni Phl Army spokesman Col. Louie Dema-ala.
Si Barzaga habang nakasuot ng fatigue uniform ay inianunsyo sa social media na nag-withdraw na umano ng suporta ang AFP kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. dahil sa anomalya sa flood control projects.
Sinabi ni Dema-ala na si Barzaga ay tinanggal epektibo pa noong Setyembre 21 pero may proseso na isalang pa sa masusing imbestigasyon ang kasong kinasangkutan nito at inianunsyo ang opisyal na delistment dito nitong Oktubre 22.
“Mayroon kasing procedures. Inannounce lang noong September 30 ‘yung kanyang recommendation, however, tumatakbo na ang investigation sa kanya. And September 21 niya kasi na commit ang offense,” paliwanag ni Demaala.
