Duterte nominadong kahalili ng PDP-Laban standard bearer

MANILA, Philippines – Naghain ng resolusyon ang Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) ngayong Martes upang inomina si Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte bilang kahalili ni anti-crime advocate Martin Diño bilang kanilang standard bearer.

Inihain ng PDP-Laban ang naturang resolusyon upang magkaroon sila ng kandidato kung sakaling umatras si Diño o i-diskwalipika ng Commission on Elections.

"Wherefore, be it resolved, as it is hereby resolved, to substitute Martin ‘Bobot’ Diño in case he withdraws from the presidential race with Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte who is concededly the strongest presidential hopeful of the party aside from Martin 'Bobot' Diño, and who must dutifully abide by the decision of the party," nakasaad sa resolusyon.

Sa kabila nito ay desisyon pa rin ni Duterte kung tatanggapin niya ito.

“The question of whether or not he will accept the party’s nomination should be addressed to him," wika ni  PDP-Laban Region 6 interim president JV Hinlo.

Muling tatakbong alkalde ng Davao City si Duterte sa kabila ng mga panawagan na tumakbo siya bilang pangulo.

Ilang beses nang iginit ni Duterte na ayaw niyang pamunuan ang buong bansa at kahit kalian ay hindi niya pinangarap ito.
