OFW na may cancer, tinulungan ng Konsulado

MANILA, Philippines - Isang 64-anyos Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) na nagtataglay ng sakit na cancer ang sinaklolohan ng Philippine Consulate General sa Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Sa report ng Konsulado Heneral sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), agad silang umaksyon nang itawag sa kanilang Medical Response Team (MRT) ang maselang kondisyon ng OFW na si Danilo Tayao noong Mayo 24 matapos na dumaing sa matinding sakit.

Lumabas sa resulta ng medical examination ni Tayao na sumasailam sa medikasyon sa King Fahad Hospital na mayroon siyang chronic liver disease at maaaring sanhi ng pancreatic cancer.

Kasalukuyan nang kinokontak ng Consulate ang pamilya ng nasabing OFW sa Manila na isang undocumented.

Inaayos na rin ang repatriation ng nasabing Pinoy na matagal nang nagtrabaho sa Saudi bilang driver.
