CEBU, Philippines — Usa ka balaudnon nga maghatag og tax exemptions sa madawat nga rewards ug incentives sa mga Filipino athlete ug sa ilang mga coaches ang giaprobahan sa balay balauranan.
Ang nahisgutang bill maghatag og exemption sa tanang incentives, rewards, bonuses, ug ubang butang nga madawat sa atleta gikan sa publiko o pribadong sector nga makadaug sa international sports competitions.
"HB No. 10723 seeks to exempt from taxes, fees, and charges all incentives, rewards, bonuses, and other form of emoluments received by national athletes who compete or win in international sports competition, as well as their respective coaches" sumala sa House of Representatives.
Ang House Bill 10723 giaprobahan sa 203 ka mga lawmakers diin way nisupak ug wala usay abstentions.
Kining maong exemption, segun sa balaudnon naglakip usab sa mga madawat sa ilang mga coaches.
Ang maong balaudnon napasar sa balay balauran pipila ka adlaw human nga naangkon ni Carlos Yulo usa ka artistic gymnast ang duha ka gold medal sa Paris Olympics.
