Sa pagbasura ng PDAF, solon umaasang tatahimik na ang publiko

MANILA, Philippines – Tanggap ng ilang mambabatas ang naging desisyon ng Korte Suprema sa Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) kaya naman panawagan nila na gawin na lamang ang kanilang trabaho para sa ikabubuti ng bansa.

Sinabi nina ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Samuel Pagdilao at Isabela First District Rep. Rodolfo Albano III na ituon na ang pansin sa paggawa ng makubuluhang batas.

"The SC decision was expected and practical. I am not sad about it because we can improve and go on. We can improve the budget system to ensure it must emanate from the policy makers," pahayag ni Albano III.

Umaasa naman si Pagdilao na sa desisyon ng mataas na hukuman na hindi naaayon sa Saligang Batas ang PDAF ay matatahimik na ang publiko.

"I welcome the decision of the SC on the unconstitutionality of the pork barrel which I hope will quiet the public and put to rest the controversial issue of the PDAF," sabi ni Pagdilao.

Samantala, maganda ang patutunguhan ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa desisyon ng Korte Suprema para kay Davao City Third District Rep. Isidro Ungab.

"It's the birth of a new style of legislative proceedings which I hope would lead to better governance and public service," sabi ng mambabatas na siya ring pinuno ng House Committee on Appropriations .
