Odette vs. Ruping

It was worse. Several youths were heard talking among themselves about how bad typhoon Odette was; no water, power, or internet for two weeks, but an old-timer said they had it worse with typhoon Ruping in 1990.

“Kung kamo wala’y tubig o kuryente duha ka semana, kami wala’y tubig o kuryente usa ka buwan,” he said.

The youth couldn’t top his story.
