UKAY WITH THAT. A man who used to frequent a tapsilogan was surprised to see that it had suddenly closed and become a used clothing store. He said the transition from eatery to ukay-ukayan took less than a week.

The same happened with the nearby former online betting station.

“Ngano kaha ‘ning negosyo no kung mosarado ukay-ukayan man g’yud ang mopuli?” he told his friends.
