BY THE NUMBERS. A group of neighbors have organized their own swetres “text brigade” to spread information about the winning numbers faster. They resorted to this after spreading information by word of mouth proved unreliable at times.

“Ang gisulti sa driver 7-2-1, pero inig abot sa eskina mahimo nang 7-1-2. Usahay makalimtan pa gani, ang mahinumduman ang sa niaging adlaw,” one of them told The EAR.

Miscommunication has even led to fights among neighbors, he added.
