Big glasses “not for youths”

SHE DIDN’T EXPECTO THAT. A girl went to a local optical clinic to get her first-ever pair of glasses. There were a lot of designs to choose from but she wanted the ones she saw on her favorite movie character Harry Potter; huge round-rim glasses.

However, while she was fitting them on, the woman assisting them said this design doesn’t really look good on younger people.

“Di man na angay sa mga batan-on, ‘day,” the assistant was heard saying.

The girl’s sister who was with her at the time agreed.
