DEFENDERS. A social media active lamented the words now used by some Facebook users who appeared to be fans of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte. They defended Duterte's bad words and expletives, womanizer, and human rights violator. "Hasta na hinuon sa Facebook, mamalikas na sila kay okay ra kuno karon panahona mamalikas kay ang ilang future president himalikas man."

SELF-DESTRUCT. "At the end of the day, the Filipino people will vote according to conscience. Goodness is innate in us, Filipinos, and we don't even say bad words in front of the children, and we are peace-loving citizens who condemned violent people," the same Facebook user said in reaction to bashers of social media actives who criticized Duterte.
