CONTRAST. An elderly nun from Bacolod was impressed by the orderly crowd that met Pope Francis in Tacloban airport last Saturday, Jan. 17/15. She said to an Ear informer: “The Tacloban crowd and the crowd I saw during the Black Nazarene procession in Quiapo are a study in contrast.”
CONFUSION. She said discipline was the rule of the day in Tacloban even if the thousands of pilgrims waited for the Papal Mass in the rain. “I’m highly impressed by the Taclobanons’ behavior,” our informer quoted the nun as saying.
