Papal souvenirs

BUSINESS. Did you know that the coming Papal Visit is proving to be a boon to retail business? Already news reports from Manila have it that the Quiapo-Plaza Miranda area is now  flooded with souvenir items ranging from T-shirts, bandanas, mugs, hats, umbrellas, ballpens, necklaces, etcetera all with pictures of Pope Francis.

IN CEBU. An Ear informer said many of the Manila-made souvenir items have already reached Cebu where locally made souvenirs are also available. Our informer said there are some taxi drivers selling some papal souvenirs (so-called) to their passengers.
