LOOKS. During a symposium attended by more than 300 coeds from a Manila university the question was asked: 'What important quality do you want our next President to have?"  The answers varied, according to our Ear informer, but many of the girls said they wanted the next President to have good looks.

WHY? The girls said in their individual verbal explanation to their answer that "a good looking President brings prestige" to the country and that in a gathering of world leaders "a good looking President never fails to stand out and draw favorable comments for the country." Never mind the talent?" Most of the girls were silent on this, our informer said.
