Incidentally, I have just learned that Father's Day is a national holiday in the United States. And the Father's Day greeting cards generate billions of dollars from the celebration of Dad's Day. Oh, well, I just thought you'd want to share this info.

The death of a rich Chinese-Pinoy businessman should be a reminder to all of the saying: "We come to this world with nothing, we'll leave this world still with nothing."

The said moneyed businessman owns many things including multi-storied buildings, progressive businesses, etc. But it was shown on tv the small space of cemented grave where his remains will be deposited.

OVERHEARD. There's a bill, now a law, that bans the collecting or hoarding of coins (sinsilyo or sinsiyo). Grader No. 1: "Sa ato pa, Nay, undang na ko tigum ug sinsiyo sa akong alkansiya?" Nanay: "O, Nak, hunong na. Undang na." Grader: "Papel na lang tigumon ko, Nay." Nanay: "O, Nak, kon dunay matigum."
