THE EAR - The Freeman

EARTH HOUR. It seems that there are still many who have not heard of the Earth Hour, the switching off  of lights for an hour, a worldwide campaign to combat climate change. In one depressed barangay in the city, many residents were surprised when many homes were without light for an hour. "Gi-brownout tawon sila," a housewife was heard saying.

MORE INFO. "Many of us still don't know about the reason behind the Earth Hours," said an official of the DENR, one of the lead agencies implementing the Earth Hour. "I think there is still need for more information and needless to say the media can fill this need."
