Forgotten necessity

REQUEST. A senior citizen from Tacloban City said her home city was flooded, as it were, not with water anymore but with truckloads of relief goods. But a kumadre of hers requested her to buy  here in Cebu some sanitary napkins for her daughters.

 

NECESSITY. “Santisima!” exclaimed the kumadre. “They have neglected to include the monthly necessity for girls?” She said: “Let it be a reminder to good samaritans that there are necessities in life that need not be forgotten,” she said. “Like napkins!”
