Praise for Manny

I seldom disagree with you, but the September 18 editorial "Mayweather smarter"? no…just an arrogant coward…fights only for "self" and boxing fans pay millions to DROPG BIG APPLES on his lap.

Pacquiao? Yes, he fights "for his fans and country". Why do so many Americans ADMIRE - LOVE and RESPECT Manny?

We see his humility, he's a GIVER not a TAKER, a man who loves his country and countrymen, far above his ego.

As for Bradley? Manny clearly won that fight. Marquez? Manny was comfortably ahead until "Lady Luck" smiled on Marquez. Rios? We will know on Nov. 25. Win/lose/draw, Philippine fans and millions of Americans will be proud of Manny Pacquiao, a FIRST-CLASS GENTLEMAN.

Mayweather's "apples" will rot over time, even if he retires undefeated. The memories of the pride that Pacquiao gives to his fans will live on. The great NFL football player Gale Sayers wrote a book titled "God is first, others are second, I am third." That sums up Manny Pacquiao. Or better said "God first, my family second, my country third, my fans fourth, I am fifth."
