CEBU, Philippines - Illegal drugs worth around P361,000 were confiscated from a suspected level two drug pusher who was arrested yesterday morning during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pit-os, Cebu City.
Neil Mabano, 35, was apprehended by the operatives of the City Intelligence Branch after he personally sold a pack of shabu to a police decoy in exchange of P200.
The police also reco-vered six medium packs of suspected shabu, 26 small packs of suspected shabu and P2,800 cash believed to be proceeds from his illegal activity.
CIB chief, Superintendent Romeo Santander, said that Mabano can dispose of 200 to 300 grams every week. He added that they have received information that Mabano is engaged in illegal drug trade in the area.
During the operation, four other persons in Mabano’s house were arrested for possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. They were identified as Harold Sumaylo, 29, Eldred Lopez, 43, Ricky Sayson, 43, and Aumar Limotan, 27.
Sumaylo, Lopez, and Sayson each yielded an ampoule of nubain and a syringe while Limotan was caught preparing drug-sniffing paraphernalia on a table.
The five suspects will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (FREEMAN)
