CEBU, Philippines - A trade exhibition featuring nice home accents, decorations, fashion accessories and wearables by different Cebu-based designers and manufacturers is currently on display at the Northwing Atrium in SM City Cebu.
Titled "Exquisitely Filipino," the exhibit is timed with the different Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings scheduled in the city - for the APEC delegates and the local public to get to see the best products of the Queen City of the South.
Highlighting furniture pieces, wearables, and handicrafts made by more than 15 of Cebu's design industry prime-movers, the "Exquisitely Filipino" exhibit also showcases a variety of artworks by local visual artists.
From coffee table centerpieces to interior design accents, wall mountable decorations to lighting fixtures, all of the items in the exhibition bear a minimalist tone of design - complemented by contemporary re-imaginings of traditional Filipino aesthetics.
Opening on August 22 last week, "Exquisitely Filipino" runs until September 8. (YRST)
