Graduation Treat at the City’s Finest

CEBU, Philippines – As the graduates brace themselves to take on to the next chapter of their lives, there is probably no better way to congratulate them than having a celebration at Cebu City’s finest. Marco Polo Plaza Cebu treats new graduates to the best buffet in town.

The hotel’s Café Marco has a special treat for the graduates from March 13 to April 19. For every four paying diners, the graduate’s meal is free – plus a Marco Polo giveaway.

Diners may indulge in Mediterranean dishes and carvings at the Western station, or go classic with some of the signature dishes at the Asian station, including the Peking Duck and Hainanese Chicken paired with flavorful rice. Those who long for good old Asian soup, a bowl of laksa might just be right. There’s also a grilling station for seafood lovers or those who like kebab.

The award-winning Café Marco also has the Japanese station with an array of sushi and sashimi. At the Pasta section, the chefs at the show kitchen may be asked to whip a pasta dish of the diner’s choice. For the health buffs, aside from the salad bar, there’s the new vegetarian ala carte menu. To beat the summer heat is the latest addition to the buffet – the Café Marco Coolers, made with natural and fresh ingredients such as tea leaves, mint, lemon, citrus fruits, cucumber, ginger, and more; these are not only refreshing but detoxifying as well.

To wrap up the celebratory feast, there’s a selection of irresistible sweets at the dessert station. Aside from the signature Mango Crepe and freshly baked Malicious Cookies, the newly added Filipino favorites puto bumbong and Tagalog bibingka are also a hit.

The graduation bash is definitely at a higher level at Café Marco. Those availing to the special treat only have to present a school ID or diploma. The promo is available for lunch and dinner.
