Kuh Ledesma in tonight’s ‘Powerhouse’

CEBU, Philippines -  Pop Diva Kuh Ledesma is the voice behind some of the classic Filipino hits such as “Dito Ba,” “Till I Met You,” and “I Think I’m in Love,” and the theme song of the controversial TV series My Husband’s Lover, “One More Try.”

Even though the actress-singer has been in showbiz for quite some time, Kuh is very elusive when it comes to interviews. But on a rare occasion, she opens the door of her house to GMA-7’s lifestyle program “Powerhouse” this Wednesday.

Located in Indang, Cavite, the four-hectare Hacienda Isabella is named after Kuh’s daughter, Isabella. The house shows Kuh’s fascination with antiques. In fact, some pieces of her furniture are made and designed from old wood. Aside from her antique collection, many bible verses embellish the walls of her house.

Because the house has a romantic ambiance, friends advise her to open it to the public. Now, her dream farm house is already a bed and breakfast and caters to weddings and team building activities.

In her exclusive interview with Kara David, Kuh will talk about her role as Elaine Soriano, the mother of Tom Rodriguez’ character in “My Husband’s Lover.” Why did she refuse to slap Carla Abellana in one episode? Is she really anti-poor? And what about the lesbian rumors surrounding her?

Learn about the inspiring life story of Kuh on “Powerhouse” tonight after “Saksi.” (PR)
