CEBU, Philippines - AboitizLand Inc. now extends its proximity to its existing and potential homeowners as the homegrown developer recently opened its new office at SM City Cebu.
With its aim to increase the convenience options available to its growing clientele, the Aboitiz Equity Ventures affiliate expands itself through its newly-inaugurated office to become more accessible to its partners and homeowners.
AboitizLand Inc. assistant vice president for sales Audie Villa said that they have to expand their presence and services to cater to the growing number of existing and potential real estate investors and partners.
“We have to open an outlet wherein we can replicate the services we offer in our corporate center,†he said.
Villa shared that the company observed heightened interest and increasing number of inquiries during the weekend as manifested during its exhibitions inside SM City Cebu every two to three weeks.
The developer believes that through its strategic setting within the mall, homeowners and partners could pay a visit to AboitizLand while running errands or engaging in other activities.
“We want to make it more convenient for them with the prolonged time of providing our services and with the accessibility to the market. They can check our model units, book sales and even make reservations,†Villa said.
The 105-square meter office is composed of a reception area, a showroom for the model unit and masterplan of the various development projects and a training room.
The SM branch will also house services for real estate brokers such as daily project knowledge seminars and broker accreditation.
AboitizLand has its main headquarters located along Gov. Manuel Cuenco Avenue in Banilad. The new office is located at the upper ground floor of SM City Cebu at the North Reclamation Area and is open daily during mall hours from 10 am to 9 pm.
Villa said that the upsurge in demand for real estate in the market fueled the sales performance of the company as it sustained a double growth in terms of the volume of units sold for the past three years.
He added that the continued real estate boom could be attributed to the increased purchasing power of the potential investors and end-users who are mostly overseas Filipino workers and those employees in the managerial level from outsourcing companies.
Villa said this is evidenced by the robust sales take-up of its new real estate projects such as Almiya, Priveya Hills and Persimmon Studios.
Villa said that more than 90 percent of the first phase of Almiya has already been sold out in less than four months.
Almiya is a P1-billion residential project in Northern Cebu that sits on a 5.2-hectare property in Canduman, Mandaue City. It was officially introduced last July as the third project launched this year and the 21st overall project of AboitizLand.
The Almiya house-and-lot project will be implemented in three phases. The first phase that covers a total of 1.09 hectares is already being constructed last June and is expected to be finished by the fourth quarter of 2014. To date, the company is starting to sell the second phase.
Priveya Hills, on the other hand, is also enjoying a positive market reception with almost 90 percent of the units for the first phase already sold. The second phase of the project that was just launched last October 28 is currently 40-percent sold.
The P3.2-billion residential project is a 60-hectare master-planned development located in the green northern valleys of Talamban, Cebu City.
Priveya Hills phase 1 has a total project cost of P533 million, encompassing 113 lots in its 10-hectare property.
It has started its construction period in the second quarter of 2013 and is targeted to be completed in the third quarter of 2015.
The second phase entails a project cost of P417 million and covers 89 lots in its eight-hectare property located close to the clubhouse and amenity area. Its construction will begin in the second quarter of 2014 and is projected to be finished by the third quarter of 2016.
Meanwhile, the Persimmon Studios posted a triple sales turn-out for this year. The mid-rise condominium project is the latest project component of The Persimmon community that sits on a 1.4-hectare property is situated along M.J. Cuenco Avenue, Mabolo, Cebu City.
Occupying a land area of 4,434 square meters, the 16-storey building has a total of 632 combinable studio units with 44 in each floor. The construction is set to start on the third quarter of next year and will be completed and turned over on the third quarter of 2015.
