The city government was also awarded with P1 million cash as part of the prizes in the DOH "Sentrong Sigla" contest nationwide.

In a statement, delighted Mayor Nene Aguilar said he is very proud to receive the award on behalf of the doctors, nurses, and all public health personnel of the city for their unselfish and dedicated service to the people of Las Piñas.
