IMUS, Cavite — Elements of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Special Operations Group (SOG) arrested a 32-year-old grandson of Cavite Gov. Ireneo "Ayong" Maliksi for a murder case. 


Senior Superintendent Benjardi Mantele, Cavite police director, identified the suspect as Benedict Maliksi Jr., said to be a member of the civil security unit of the provincial government.

Benedict is reportedly a son of the governor’s first cousin.
