This was the last text message sent by bank assistant manager Ruben Cruz to his wife before he shot himself inside a Bank of the Philippine Islands branch on Katipunan Avenue early yesterday.

Initial police investigation revealed that the bank’s security guard heard two gunshots from the records room of the bank branch at around 6:25 a.m. yesterday.

He found the victim, who had a bullet wound in the right temple, sprawled on the floor.
