Bank exec commits suicide

"I love you babe, I love you Chloe, I love you Ate."
This was the last text message sent by bank assistant manager Ruben Cruz to his wife before he shot himself inside a Bank of the Philippine Islands branch on Katipunan Avenue early yesterday.
Initial police investigation revealed that the banks security guard heard two gunshots from the records room of the bank branch at around 6:25 a.m. yesterday.
He found the victim, who had a bullet wound in the right temple, sprawled on the floor.
Crime scene investigators found a caliber .38 revolver beside the body.
They also recovered three empty shells.
