The PBF yesterday said it would appeal before the International Basketball Federation or FIBA, which reaffirmed the other day its recognition of the Basketball Association of the Philippines.
The PBF, under Moying Martelino, and the BAP, under Joey Lina, are both claiming to be the rightful basketball association in the country.

Martelino flies to the former British Crown Colony this morning with fellow PBFI incorporator Joey Romasanta, bringing with them pertinent documents that could help facilitate their bid for recognition as the country affiliate of the FIBA.
Menky, meanwhile, is reportedly coming in after a conference in China.

Masyado ng sagad sa kahihiyan ang Pilipinas at siguro nga kahit na kapos sa pananalapi, kailangan na ring matuloy ang SEA Games upang kahit konti ay maiangat ang imahe ng ating bansa.
