There’s an internationally known “house of art” nestling atop a scenic hill in Batanes. It’s named Fundacion Pacita Batanes Nature Lodge in memory of a globally acclaimed Ivatan gypsy artist whose legacy to humankind are her 3,500 works of art crafted in a span of more than three decades.
