Based on the data released by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, Mandaue collected P98,762,713, exceeding the target collection of P41,116,000 for the quarter.
Mayor Thadeo Ouano said the city's tax collection efficiency is a result of its intensified tax campaign.
"I am thanking our taxpayers for paying their taxes correctly and promptly ug kadtong wa pa gyud kabayad, pamayad na intawon mo," Ouano said.
