[Title] => In the event of an Arroyo exit - Part Two
[Summary] => Former UP President Vicente Singco, in his book on Philippine Political law, characterized the members of the upper house of our legislature by writing that "senators are expected to approach national problems from the viewpoint of what is more desirable to the whole country rather than what is best merely to a province or region". The last edition of that book might have come off the press before I finished elementary, but the principle is very much alive today as it was in the year of its publication, 1962.

Pedro Bulaong ang tinaguriang over staying District Director. He-he-he! Iba na ang may pinagsamahan.

[Title] => Pandacan oil depots gravest danger to Manila
[Summary] => In the current controversy regarding the relocation of the oil depots in Pandacan, the uppermost question that comes up to any thinking persons mind is: "Why was it ever allowed in the first place?" There is not the slightest doubt that the oil depots belonging to Caltex Philippines, Petron and Shell Philippines are the greatest security threat in Manila. If a terrorist would set it ablaze or throw a bomb in the depot, Manila will undergo its greatest tragedy since liberation. There are 300 million liters of fuel and other petroleum products stocked there.
