An annual event, it was supposed be one of the highlights of the IPI (International Press Institute) 50th General Assembly in 2001, but had to be canceled when Gudjarat suffered greatly during the earthquake that just struck then. My husband Max Soliven, being a military buff, was so disappointed for it has been one of his lifetime dreams to witness this stirring sunset ceremony.
