The Toyota Vios, with license plate XPF-399, owned by Inspector Melchor Rosales, of the EPD Investigation Division, was found in the possession of one Harold Reyes, 20, who was seen driving it in Quezon City.

Reyes turned out to be a son of Gloria Reyes, 62, to whom suspect Jeffrey Ascaraga reportedly pawned Rosales’ car.

Police has launched a manhunt against Ascaraga.
