Sayang, dahil 200,000 bagong nurses ang kakailanganin ng America kada taon hanggang 2012; kalahati nu’n ay RN, pero ang kalahati at para sa LPN.

Matagal na palang nagre-recruit ng Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ang US mula sa ibang bansa. Karamihan ng mga na-hire nitong huli ay Indians at Chinese, pero halos walang Pilipino na paborito sana ng mga doktor at pasyente. Kasi, ang mga ipinadadala natin sa America ay mga Registered Nurse (RN), na overqualified kaya hindi nailuluklok sa mga bakanteng puwesto.
