It’s my third time in Bukidnon and the majestic Mt. Kitanglad range never fails to awe. You see mountains that seem to be layered into the horizon, bamboo and coconut trees swaying with the wind, and cows grazing or simply watching life pass by.

Having left Iloilo City’s Fort San Pedro at around 10 p.m. on Feb. 11, we arrived at Iligan City Port by 11 a.m. the following day. This was to be our port of entry to Mindanao Island.
