After several attempts, Jubannie Abellar finally savored victory in the premiere expert's division of the MS Motosuit Motocross Series as he topped the fifth leg known as the 1st D'B8 of 8 Motocross over the weekened at Bactos racetrack in barangay Pulang Bato here.


The victory came even sweeter for Jubannie Abellar even without the presence of rider of this year Irwin Uypitching as he was able to stun his teammate Jon-Jon Adlawan, who had just competed in the FIM Motocross of Asia-Philippine leg in Palawan as well as another veteran Pepo Rubi.

Yuson, one of the fastest rising riders in the country today, took advantage of the absence of his teammate, Popeye Rubi, the top contender for the ROY award.


Popeye is now working in Saipan together with another Shell-Yamaha rider, Weng Yapparcon, making Yuson's way up likely easy.
