Among those who received the HEA, which ranges from P3,000 to P9,000, were barangay volunteer emergency responders, soldiers and police.

Kadil Sinolinding Jr., health minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), said employees of municipal and provincial health offices and hospitals would also receive their HEA.

The BARMM covers Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Lanao del Sur, Basilan and Tawi-Tawi provinces and the cities of Lamitan, Marawi and Basilan.
