MANILA, Philippines – Just what is the deal with Kobe Paras' NCAA team in the United States?
For starters, it's a Division I-team that gives the homegrown Filipino cager an avenue to showcase his talents for, hopefully, NBA scouts.
But while the Creighton Bluejays are a relatively unknown team for those who aren't die-hard US NCAA fans, the collegiate crew is on its way to hoisting historic numbers.
Assists, minutes, and some intangibles by this season's cast of the Bluejays are set to reach record-setting highs, according to American sports scribe Josh Planos.
Check out his examination of Creighton's latest digits in this interview with CNN sportscaster Mico Halili.
According to @JPlanos, the Creighton Bluejays are on pace to break records in the U.S. NCAA. https://t.co/toRCuyScDk pic.twitter.com/xb31z7E2hf
