MANILA, Philippines -- The defending champion San Miguel Beermen continued their amazing "Beeracle" run and are now on the cusp of making history by becoming the first team to ever come from a 0-3 series deficit.

June Mar Fajardo struck hard in the fourth while Marcio Lassiter hit his stride outside as the Beermen took Game Six, 100-89, on Friday night at the Big Dome to force a Game Seven on Wednesday.

Playing in his only second game in the series, Fajardo played a lot better finishing with 16 points and seven boards in 22 minutes, six more than he played in Game Five.

Lassiter, on the other hand, knocked down four triples including two big ones that sparked their fourth quarter run enabling the Beermen to take a 15-point lead, 83-68, as the Aces crumbled to pressure anew.

"We have done nothing yet. We just tied the series," Beermen coach Leo Austria said after the close game that turned into a rout in the fourth quarter.

Yancy de Ocampo also played big delivering 14 points as a reliever to Fajardo while Arwind Santos and Alex Cabagnot chipped in 10 apiece.

Vic Manuel, the Best Player in Alaska's three wins earlier in the series, again led the Aces with 21 points but still proved not enough.

The Beermen will be shooting for history while the Aces will be looking for redemption in no-tomorrow game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Mall of Asia Arena.
