MANILA, Philippines – CafeFrance shoots for a share of the lead with Caida and UP QRS/Jam Liner as it squares off with BDO-National U at the resumption of the PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The Bakers opened their campaign with an 89-65 rout of the Mindanao Aguilas but coach Egay Macaraya remained far from being satisfied after his wards committed 13 turnovers the first time out.
“Everybody wanted to play aggressive ball that’s why things went a little bit out of control,” said Macaraya. “But hopefully, we’ll be able to make the necessary adjustment.”
Macaraya hopes his wards to settle down as they go up against the Bulldogs at 2 p.m.
Meanwhile, Wangs and Mindanao collide in a duel of winless squads at 4 p.m.
