The sport is a good training for physical conditioning, alertness and self-protection against all odds. Knowledge in unarmed defense is much better than acquiring a deadly weapon. The sport can be mastered through continuous training, determination and perseverance.
Some of the participants in the summer classes eventually go on to become regular competitors in local and international tournaments since PTA is a member of the World Taekwondo Federation and the Philippine Olympic Committee and recognized by the Philippine Sports Commission.
