MANILA, Philippines - Top caliber local and international fighters from Muay Thai, kickboxing and mixed martial arts battle it out in ClubS’ Fight For Peace set Oct. 23 at the Resorts World Manila Newport Performing Arts in Pasay City.

Promoted by World Team USA, headed by Tony Reyes and held in partnership with Wulin Feng of China, the one-night fightfest will be broadcasted on TV5 and aired in China Henan TV, which has a market of 200 million viewers in China alone.

Submission Sports Phl’s Eugene Toquero, unbeaten in four bouts in the Pacific X-treme Cagefighting, will take on Dennis Salazar of World Team USA while Chinese Wu Tieyin and New Zealand’s Kaiwhare France slug it out in the other main event of the evening.

“We want to do our bit to help promote peace between China and the Phl. So instead of our fighters fighting their fighters, Chinese and Filipino warriors will battle fighters from Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the USA,” said Reyes in yesterday’s press launch at the Roadhouse at Mall of Asia.

“This is just the first of a series of world-class events we plan to organize in the country to provide a platform for brands to promote their products and for our fighters to compete against the best in the world to be discovered by bigger promotions,” said Reyes.

He added that they are putting up the event to help Filipino fighters realize their dreams of becoming world champions in MMA arena.

The event is sanctioned by the WBC Muaythai and the Games and Amusement Board and supported by PAL, Resorts World Manila, Miravana Resorts Spa, Vitality Clinic, DTC Promos and Above Beauty.

Tickets are available at Resorts World, Ticketnet and Ticketworld outlets.
