7:30 p.m. – Ginebra vs Meralco

MANILA, Philippines - Petron Blaze hopes to sustain the form that led to  its bristling win over Rain or Shine last Saturday behind new import Rodney White as it squares off with old rival Talk n Text in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum today.

The Boosters seek to regain a share of the lead with the Alaska Milk Aces at 7-2 while the Tropang Texters look to improve an even 4-4 win-loss slate as they play in the 5:15 p.m. match kicking off a busy PBA weekend featuring rare “back-to-back-to-back” double-headers at the Big Dome.

Air21 plays Globalport then Alaska Milk faces San Mig Coffee in a Saturday special ushering in the league’s Palm Sunday bill pitting Barako Bull against Barangay Ginebra and Talk n Text opposite Rain or Shine.

Barangay Ginebra and Meralco clash in the main game at 7:30 tonight.

“It’s always a tough situation changing imports in the middle of the conference. Rodney White brings a different dimension to our team. I just hope he learns our system right away because we play a very strong Talk n Text team who just lost their last game,” said Petron coach Olsen Racela.
