MANILA, Philippines – B-Meg’s locals outplayed their Barangay Ginebra counterparts, surviving Marcus Blakely's 3-of-15 free throws and measly 13-point output as the Llamados topped the Kings, 96-88, in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum tonight.
PJ Simon, James Yap and Yancy de Ocampo scored at least 16 points each as B-Meg, the Commissioner’s Cup champion, sprang back from a loss to Rain or Shine Friday.
Ginebra suffered its first loss against a win.
